The Mercedes-Benz has published the new information on a two-door coupe of the E-class. The coupe is developed on new platform W212 of an E-class and replaces with itself old series CLK. The novelty has no B-pillar of a body and is equipped with completely developing side windows. The manufacturer declares that the novelty has the lowest factor of front resistance among all serial cars - only 0.24 that does its aerodynamics almost ideal.
The suspender monitoring system enters into a standard complete set, automatically arranging parametres under road conditions, and also system of safety Pre-Safe, capable to stop the car, in case of danger of crash if thus the driver ignores preventions. The special system analyzes more than 70 parametres defining how much the driver is attentive and vigilant, without supposing a situation when the driver can fall asleep at the wheel.
The diesel ruler of engines engages E250 CDI Blue EFFICIENCY capacity of 204 h.p. and with a twisting moment of 500 Nanometers, 5.1 l spending on the average/100 km, and also E350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, 231 h.p. developing capacity and a twisting moment of 540 Nanometers, spending 6.8 l/100 of km in an EU-cycle. The group of gasoline engines engages 204-strong E250 CGI, 292-strong E350 CGI and 8-cylinder E500 capacity of 388 h.p. and a twisting moment 530Нм. Sales of Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe will begin in first half of May.
