Skoda, VW's Czech subsidiary, is prepping for entrance to Australia. Marking the 100th market the automaker is entering, 14 dealerships across the continent are expected to open by the end of this year. Initially, Skoda will be offering the popular Roomster MPV, Octavia Hatch/Estate, and the Octavia RS. "The launch in Australia is another symbol of Skoda Auto´s international expansion", stated Fred Kappler, Skoda BOD Member.
Skoda will make its debut in the Down-Under at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney, occurring in October.
