The Peugeot 505 is a classic car. The Peugeot 505 was in many respects one of the last of its kind at a time, into the mainstream (as opposed to the prestige-) European manufacturers began to front-wheel-drive family cars, Peugeot has decided to rear wheel drive 505, the ontinuation the long tradition of family with fixed Peugeot 403, 404 and 504th.

The same technique was used as the 504, with independent rear on most saloon cars while still very practical to use a live rear axle. Choice of hand, but as time went on the 505 offered more power, luxury and economy. The 2.2 GTi model offers better performance and a luxurious interior, then, four-cylinder turbo and 2.8 V6 models. And of course there was the turbo-charged diesel with 2 / 5 GTD GTD between cooler and offer more power, in fact Peugeot was the first manufacturer to provide turbo-diesel cars, which we must always be grateful. The 505 qualities were highly valued, not only in Europe but also in Africa and Latin America. Excellent ride and handling are very well suited for harsh conditions in many countries, where they continue to give sterling service.Production of the 505 is no longer in France in 1992, but also in other markets sometime thereafter. It was never directly replaced, but still a very popular car, the last of the old line.
